Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) commenced its Supplies & Inventory Management System (SIMS) roll out to 80+ provinces across 16 regions nationwide. Mr. Hilario spearheads the implementation and targets to accomplish 5-10 provinces per month. First few provinces now implemented are Marinduque, Occ. Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan and Romblon under Region IVB.
DTI Headquarters have been using this same system for almost two years now and its main objective is to provide real-time business intelligence, promote transparency on all purchases & accountability in each and every province and bureau.
