The annual Cebu Digital Innovation Summit by Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented the latest thought leadership in digital trends, innovation, and transformation. 2017’s theme was STEP UP, or Stepping Up Technology, Entrepreneurship and Productivity for the Upliftment of Cebu. It featured innovative ideas, technologies, securities, and practices that hope to fundamentally change the way the society, markets, and economy will behave and operate.
The summit presented local and foreign experts, thought leaders and leaders in the frontline who shared their digital innovation and transformation experiences on e-commerce, digital entrepreneurship, 4th industrial revolution, business models for marginalized people and community, big data analytics, innovations in the World by Google, start-up ecosystem, Idea pitching, automation process, cyber security among others.
The newly formed Innovation Council of Cebu is timely and relevant to make this innovation ecosystem in Cebu inclusive and adaptive.
Organizations need to rethink their position in their markets, ecosystems, and value chains and need to transform the way they create value. Now is the time to digitally transform.
